I honestly thought I was ordering the little bottle not the 11oz.. infact almost ordered 2. I only use Watkins as that was all my grandma used, it's becoming very hard to find lately so Amazon to the rescue!! This used to be called double strength but it is the same recipe and the same use less. Very rich and amazing! If you know you know.. so surprised and happy

For years I was NEVER convinced that vanilla did anything for baked goods (I made batches of things with and without, and no one could ever blindly detect any difference!!) But this actually DOES make a noticeable difference in taste because the ingredients are a bit different. Best thing is, it's not as expensive as regular vanilla extract. So now I'll add the vanilla back into my recipes.

I put 2 teaspoons of this in the bleach cup in my washer because my washer smelled horrible and oh my gosh it smells so good after 1 cycle. Also I get hornets on my back porch so I put 2 tablespoons to 1 cup of water in a sprayer and it’s very effective without using something harsh. Also, it tastes good. Highly recommend.

I bought this vanilla because I make a certain drink out of nut milk and cinnamon and vanilla and a banana for texture and sweetness. This vanilla is better cooked because it Cooks off the bourbon flavor that they make it with as they soak it. The other stuff that I got the other day from here was actual like the inside of the vanilla bean thick honey consistency oh wow it was so good. But this stuff is excellent tasting so I would still say to buy it because it worked for what I needed it for it's just the other kind is a little bit better for what I'm using it for.

Anytime I bake a recipe from scratch such as an angel food cake, or need an icing for my yeast pastries that require almond extract (such as Macadamia Pineapple Buns, Watkins brand is my go-to favorite. I have used it in many other recipes such as cookies, cakes, quick breads, desserts, etc. Love the bold, pure, natural flavor. Reasonably priced.
