Monday I purchased two 365 Extra Firm Tofu I immediately recognized the size were smaller but the price was right the same.I was told by a manager “prices are going up “
This is the best tofu that I have ever purchased because it does not crumble after extracting water from it. It cuts evenly without parts crumbling. I believe this is the firmest tofu that I have ever purchased.
I've tried a lot of different brands of tofu, but I always come back to this. Why? It's affordable, even though prices have gone up a bit lately I can still find it around 1.99-2.15 a pack. Compared to other tofu brands that are $5 and up for similar quality it's a steal. There's a lot of protein in this which is my main purpose for buying. I eat this weekly, whether it's steamed tofu and rice, tofu fries, or airfried tofu strips with sweet chili sauce -- this tofu is king. I've purchased this at least 40 times by now, and yes you do get the occasional duds or bad tasting packs. Likelyhood of that happening is fairly rare though. Quality is almost always consistent, and if you're a tofu lover I suggest it.
Really firm tofu with no rubbery texture or super strong taste. I love eating it uncooked in small cubes dipped in a tasty sauce. Yum! I’ve been buying it for years and the taste and quality are always consistently excellent.
It's quite dense, in a good way. Staple here at our house. I'm happy that we can save some money from the "Super Firm" options without having to put in extra effort for that texture, etc.
I add tofu to many of my soups and have always been resigned to being left with something soggy by the last bowl of leftovers. This brand keeps it firmness to the last drop. A little pricier than other brands but worth it to me.
This is tofu, which means the flavor is what you make of it. I find these always to be fresh and sweet-smelling, even after the expiration date, and extra firm as advertised. The fact that it’s organic is a big plus for me since I try to eat organic food as much as possible. I’ve sliced and breaded these, fried them and used them as is in stir fries. Highly recommend.
Perfect for lazy cooks! I don't have the patience to drain and press my tofu properly. With this tofu I can be lazy without compromising on the yummy crunch texture after baking 😋
